Led by the internationally renowned violinist Yao Jue, the Hong Kong String Orchestra will present the world premiere of Cantonese Opera Fantasia, the new work by the famous composer Ye Guohui, which is inspired by and perfectly blending the traditional and contemporary music elements found in coastal cities of the Guangdong Province. The orchestra will also showcase the Hong Kong-style Joseph Koo’s Medley and a selection of well-known classical work, including String Serenade by Tchaikovsky and the composition by Johann Strauss Jr. and Dag Wirén.
